Philippines – Big 4 tại Thành phố Giải trí Manila cuối cùng cũng chuẩn bị mở cửa trở lại

By - Ngày 1 tháng 2020 năm XNUMX

The four casinos in Manila’s Entertainment City should soon be able to reopen at 30 per cent capacity.

PAGCOR said: “Integrated resorts and casinos which obtained permits from their respective local governments are allowed to open on trial run under the strictest health and safety protocols. Those located in areas under lockdown or enhanced community quarantine may not open. Operations are limited to a maximum of 30 per cent capacity.”

Casinos have been closed since March 15 but have been allowed to partake in dry runs.

The news of the reopenings came via Melco’s six-month interim financial filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

It stated: “On August 24, 2020, the Philippine government allowed PAGCOR-licensed casinos in areas covered by the General Community Quarantine to operate at 30 per cent operational capacity. City of Dreams Manila is preparing for the resumption of its normal operations in accordance with the terms and conditions of this new guideline.”

The second-quarter results for the four integrated resorts in Entertainment city saw a collectively loss of $271.4 m. Solaire reported a loss of $96.2m, Resorts World $75.9m, Okada $49.9m whilst City of Dreams lost $49.4m.
