Four years after opening, Aspers casino at Westfield Stratford City in east London is preparing for its five millionth visitor.

With around 4,500 daily customers, it expects to welcome its milestone guest before the end of April.
Chief Operating Officer Richard Noble said: “The Stratford business has been a success since day opened to record crowds and we now regularly welcome over 140,000 guests every month. One of the key aspects of the business is its accessibility to everyone; from novices and non-gamers to highly experienced gamblers. We also welcome a high percentage of women. This is unusual for casinos and I think reflects the far broader entertainment mix we offer with live music every weekend, lively bars and a great quality food offering in our restaurant.”

“We’ve increased the size of the entertainment floor twice already, doubled the size of the poker facilities, added a new bar and also introduced VIP gaming facilities,” he added. “We’re currently re-introducing our £50,000 Super Draw – where any customer with a loyalty card gets the chance to win a guaranteed £5,000 every week for the next 10 weeks.”
